Outreach

Street outreach is a social service that involves working with individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. This can include providing assistance with finding housing, accessing healthcare and mental health services, and connecting people with other resources and support systems in the community. Homeless outreach workers often work in collaboration with other social service agencies and may provide direct assistance such as distributing food, clothing, and other necessities to people who are homeless. The goal of homeless outreach is to help people who are experiencing homelessness to stabilize their lives and move towards self-sufficiency.
